According to Jurgen Dahlmanns a carpet is the most intimate form of interior decoration. He believes that every carpet has its personality. His collections include a variety of graphical patterns: some look whimsical, the result of sudden inspiration, on the other hand other works are the result of a study about how to reproduce sophisticated text and color geometrical patterns. Jurgen respects the tradition of hand knotted carpet and uses a wide range of materials – such as silk, hemp and linen – to achieve the best chromatic and figurative effects of his designs.
